Ne zamandır ingilizce dilinde bir şiir okumaya heves ediyordum ve dün gece şöyle bir gezinirken goodreads'te bu şiir kitabına denk geldim. Puanının da iyi olduğunu fark edince ekitap olarak indirip kısa şiirleri hemen bir çırpıda okudum. İlk baştaki şiirleri beğenmemiş olsam dahi sonralara doğru olan şiirleri ben çok beğendim. Daha da doğrusu bana bunlar şiir gibi değil de hani böyle Amanda içinde dökmek istediği kelimeleri, cümleler hâline getirmiş de şiir kitabı olarak sunmuş gibi geldi. Rastgele şiir olmuş biraz gibi geldi bana o yüzden.
Sonra tabii ne hikmetse, goodreads'e tekrardan döndüm ve kitap hakkında yorumları da merak edince yorumlara bir bakayım dedim. Ve hemen ikinci sırada Amanda'nın yorumuyla karşılaştım, "5 yıldız benim ter ve gözyaşlarım için" gibi bir şeydi yazdığı. O zaman dedim ki, evet bu şiirde gerçekten bir yaşanmışlık söz konusu. Bu nedenle o beğendiğim birkaç şiiri okurken yeniden etkilenmekten kendimi alamadım. Yine de diğer kötü yorumlarda belirtilen bazı şeylere ben de katılmadan edemeyeceğim, ama şu da bir gerçek ki etkilendiğim ve beğendiğim şiirler de çok. Zaten çok kısa bir şiir kitabı, bence tam tadımlık bir kitap. Benim gibi ingilizce dilinde bir şiir kitabı arıyorsanız bu kitaptan başlayabilirsiniz bence.
